We collect the following categories of personal data, depending on how you interact with us:

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number
• Address details: billing address, delivery address
• Order information: products purchased, quantities, order values, payment status
• Enquiry content: messages you send via our contact, flooring quote, measuring, or landlord enquiry forms
• Property details: property type, room sizes, and related information provided in flooring or landlord enquiries

We do not store card numbers or payment credentials. Payments are processed securely by Stripe (see section 5).

3. How long we keep your data

• Order records: 7 years from the date of the order (HMRC financial record-keeping requirement).
• Enquiry data: 6 months from the date of the enquiry, unless it converts to an order (in which case the order retention period applies).
• Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe is a data processor acting on our behalf. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
• Our staff — only those who need access to fulfil your order or respond to your enquiry.
• Legal or regulatory authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law.

5. Browser storage

We use your browser’s localStorage to remember the items in your shopping basket between visits. This information stays on your device and is not sent to our servers until you place an order. It is not a cookie and does not require consent under PECR.

6. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data (where we have no legal obligation to retain it)
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal)
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
